Complex issue

I read lots of articles about global warming in order to collect information, which I needed to present them in my writing calss, I was really shocked when I read the numbers of people who were killed by natural catastrophes in lots of countries, which were affected by global climate variability (both natural and human induced), such as Venezuela, the U.S, India, Indonesia, China and much more.
Who does not hear about floods, typhoons, droughts and other natural catastrophes? All these issues have happened because average temperatures around the world are rising gradually, which is called global warming.
However, we are responsible in somewhat about this disaster. It is quite irritating to see lots of people from different ages smoke cigarettes everywhere, which increase pollution, while other people try to do their best to protect environments. For example, we can find people who oppose using cars or even airplanes in order to reduce this issue.
Nevertheless, in my point of view, we cannot get along without modern technologies and without our factories even if they are worsening our environments because they have become essential things in our lives; likewise, we cannot ignore our environments. Therefore, people can plant more trees, recycle and stop burning things because pollution is the main cause of global warming.
Also, I believe that as people have invent lots of things to improve our lives since long time ago, they can invent new things or develop what we have rightly in form that save and serve our environments.

These are some helpful links about global warming

I agree that this is really a crucial issue - perhaps the most crucial issue of the century, so it is frustrating when it seems that not enough is being done to protect the planet. There is also the dilemma, as you correctly point out, that we cannot do without some of the advantages that technology has brough to the modern world, and so we collectively need to find solutions to balance our need with the destruction we are causing - not an easy task!

Global warming, the eternal topic, is talked by almost all the countries, because we have woken up to look back at our behavior, on which the earth has revenged. I come from China, I know 2008 is so special to China and Chinese. Snow catastrophe. Sicuan cataclysm. Beijing 2008 Olympic game. I don't want to talk about Olympics, a banquet for people all through the world after all, but those two disasters pushed the Chinese into misery. I'm pretty sure the snow catastrophe happened early this year in the east part of China where I experieced all the terrific days was the effect of global warming. I have not seen snow for nearly 8 years in my city, but 2008 gave me a horrible surprise. All the traffic was stopped, including rail way transportation. Houses crashed. power was cut. At that time, we seriously realized how vital the weather should be. I believe it is still not so late to look into our pollutive behavior. Surely, government should charge to make out regulations to limit pollution. However, what we can contribute to the enviornment is to start our protection around ourselves. Get off your car. Take bus.
